Registration of Delegates
Registration of delegates is via the
Registration Page in this website
www.worldtourismconference.com . Once your
registration is verified, you will be sent a
confirmation. For enquireis and assistance,

Room Reservations
Reservation of rooms at the host hotel or
official hotels is also via the Registration
Page in this website. Once the rooms are
confirmed available, you will be informed by
email and there will be a request for payment by
credit card. All room reservations and delegate
registration are coordinated by the Ministry of
Tourism, Malaysia's secretariat. Enquiries can
be directed to

WTC
Reception
Desk - 3rd & 4th June 2007
The
special Reception Desk for World Tourism
Conference Delegates located on the LL level is
open for check-in on 3rd (9am to 6pm) and 4th
June 2007 (8am to 9am). Delegates will be
required to present their invitation letters
from UNWTO or Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia.
Under normal hotel policy, a valid credit card
is required to enable hotel signing facilities.
Registered delegates can collect their
Delegate's Badge and Conference Kit from 9am to
5pm on 3rd June 2007 and from 7am to 9am on 4th
June 2007.
Opening Ceremony - 4th June 2007
The
Opening Ceremony is open to registered delegates
with tags and special invitees of UNWTO/
Malaysian Government. Dress code: Formal
Conference Sessions - 4th to 6th June 2007
Only registered
delegates with badges are allowed to enter the
Conference area and/or attend the Conference
sessions. Strict security is enforced at the Conference Venue.
Daily Tea Breaks & Lunches - 4th to 6th June
2007
Tea
breaks and lunches are served in the foyer areas
and function rooms at both B2 and LL levels.
Internet Centre - 3rd to 6th June 2007
An
Internet Centre is set up for delegates and
media personnel. It is located at B2 level.
Hospitality Lounge
A
hospitality lounge for delegates is provided
near the Ballroom throughout the conference
period.
Malaysia's
Welcome Dinner - 4th June 2007 - "Malaysia
Welcomes The World"

The
Welcome Dinner on 4th June 2007 hosted by the
Malaysian Government is at the Mandarin Oriental
Hotel Ballroom. Coaches will be provided to transfer
delegates to the Dinner Venue. Dress code:
National Costume/Lounge Suit
Airport Transfers - 2nd/3rd June & 6th/7th June
2007
Airport transfers by air-conditioned
coaches/vans are provided for registered
delegates staying in official hotels. This
service is provide on 2nd & 3rd June for
arrivals and 6th & 7th June for departures.
Registered delegates must complete the airport
transfer section in the Delegate Registration
Form. Delegates may request for private
limousine transfers when room reservations are
made.
Technical Tour - 6th June 2007
The
technical tour of Kuala Lumpur on afternoon of
6th June 2007 departs directly from Shangri-la
hotel at 2.30pm after lunch. Delegates assemble
at the LG Hotel Lobby.
Shopping Transfers - 5th & 6th June 2007
Coach
transfers are provided for delegates staying in
official hotels who wish to visit the Golden
Triangle downtown shopping areas on evenings of
5th and 6th June 2007. Delegates are required to
register for their interest at the WTC transfer
desk on the LG lobby.
Spouse Programmes
Special spouse
programmes include shopping tours, countryside
tours, spa/afternoon tea tours and market tours.
Public Transportation
Public
taxis and hotel limousines are available at the
hotel concierge. The
Bukit Nanas Monorail Station is about 15 min
walk away. The Monorail services the business
and shopping district and connects to the main
train station at KL Sentral.
Security
Tight
security is enforced in and around the
conference venue. Delegates are required to wear
their delegate badges at all times.
Non-registered persons will not be allowed to
enter the conference area.
